Dream
Marketplace Disclosures
Last updated: September 2026 · Traders Grit LLC · dream@tradersgritllc.com
Founder draft for Traders Grit LLC. Intended for later legal review. Effective when linked from live Terms and cash opens.
1. What this page is
These Marketplace Disclosures explain how money and creator payouts work on Dream, a product of Traders Grit LLC. They are written in plain English for users and creators.
They work together with Dream's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, community guidelines, and the Creator Payout Agreement.
2. Dream is a platform / marketplace facilitator
Dream helps people use the app, subscribe to Dream+, and (when enabled) lets eligible creators share in a revenue pool.
- Dream is a platform / marketplace facilitator.
- Dream is not a bank.
- Dream does not hold creator payout balances as a bank deposit.
- Dream does not provide personal banking, FDIC insurance, or investment advice.
- Dream is not a fiduciary for creator funds beyond running the stated program.
- Stripe Connect (Express or a successor) collects and moves funds under Stripe's terms and your Stripe connected-account agreement. Dream instructs Stripe to pay eligible creators when rules and thresholds are met.
When you see an "estimate" in the app before cash is payable, that number is a preview, not money in a wallet you can withdraw.
3. Who sells what
- Dream+ subscriptions are sold by Traders Grit LLC through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other channels Dream supports. Store fees apply.
- Creator content on Dream is published by creators. Watching and posting remain free. Getting paid requires Dream+ when the payout program is open.
- When creator cash is on, eligible creators may receive a share of the Dream+ net pool under the Creator Payout Agreement — not a share of every viewer's personal payment as a tip or escrow.
4. How Dream+ payments and refunds work
- You buy or renew Dream+ through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another channel Dream supports.
- The app store (or payment partner) charges you and takes its fee under its rules.
- Dream receives the remaining subscription revenue as the store reports it.
- Refunds, cancellations, and chargebacks for Dream+ follow app-store policies (and any rules of other payment channels Dream uses). Dream does not override Apple's or Google's refund process.
If you need a refund on an App Store or Play purchase, use that store's support tools first.
5. Creator pool (summary)
When creator cash is on, Dream intends to fund a shared pool with:
50% of eligible net Dream+ subscription revenue
after Apple/Google (and similar) fees and applicable refunds, chargebacks, and taxes.
- The founder's $50/month personal cushion is never in the pool.
- The pool can be $0. There is no earnings guarantee.
- Allocation uses eligible playback / engagement rules Dream defines; methodology may change prospectively with notice.
- Full detail lives in the Creator Payout Agreement.
6. Creator cash status
- Creator cash starts off.
- Estimates are not withdrawable until Dream sets the program to payable.
- When payable, Dream may set a minimum payout of $1 or higher.
- Creators must complete Stripe Connect KYC and tax forms (such as W-9 or W-8).
- Creators are independent contractors (not employees) and handle their own taxes; Dream/Stripe may issue a 1099 if required by law.
7. Stripe's role
- Stripe (or a successor) handles identity checks, tax collection forms, and payout rails.
- Dream instructs Stripe to pay eligible creators when rules and thresholds are met.
- Problems with bank deposits, holds, verification, or Stripe outages are often resolved with Stripe and your bank. Dream is not liable for Stripe outages or Stripe account decisions.
Dream does not publish Stripe secret keys or internal payable switches in these docs.
8. Fraud, policy, and corrections
Dream may suspend accounts, adjust estimates, withhold payouts, or claw back amounts for fraud, intellectual-property issues, policy violations, chargebacks, refunds, botting, self-dealing rings, or clear errors. Prohibited conduct and details are in the Creator Payout Agreement.
9. Who this is for
- Watching / posting: 13+ (per Terms of Use), where the general app age applies.
- Paid Creator Rewards / cash payouts: 18+ and U.S.-only at launch.
- Focus: United States for now. Features, payments, or payouts may be limited elsewhere.
Parents or guardians should help anyone under 18 understand subscriptions. Cash / Creator Rewards enrollment is limited to adults 18+ in the U.S. at launch.
10. Rule changes
Dream may change marketplace practices and payout rules prospectively (going forward), or suspend or end the program with notice. Material updates will be posted in these docs and, when cash is live, linked from Terms or surfaced in the product when practical.
11. Limitation of liability; entire agreement
These disclosures are provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dream's liability related to marketplace and payout disclosures follows the limits in the Terms of Use and the Creator Payout Agreement.
These Disclosures, together with the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Creator Payout Agreement, and community guidelines, form the entire agreement on these topics. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
12. Governing law
Disputes related to Dream's terms and creator payouts are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, with exclusive venue in Delaware state or federal courts, as stated in the Creator Payout Agreement and Terms of Use.
